• Design Systems Builders parent company T.W. Frierson Contractor, Inc. was established and incorporated in 1958 by Mr. Ted W. Frierson.
• Owned and operated by Mr. Ernest D. Taylor and Winston C. Hickman since 1971.
• T. W. Frierson became a Butler Builder in 1976.
• In 1980, Design Systems Builders was created as a division of TWF to focus efforts in the pre-engineered market with Butler Manufacturing.
• In 2002, DSB created a metal roof solution division to address the re-roof market.
• Under the current Ownership, the companies have completed over 650 construction projects.
